Our Story
Welcome to Helping Hand Thrift Shop, where stories are woven into every fabric, and each item carries a tale of its own. Helping Hand Thrift Shop was established in West Los Angeles in the Little Ethiopia district in 1996 by a recent Iranian women immigrant. In the past quarter of a century, we have helped many individuals find their dream antiques and have helped many to furnish their homes. Explore a unique collection of pre-loved treasures, each with a unique history waiting to be discovered. Our carefully curated collection transcends eras, featuring art, jewelry, Judaica, clothing, furniture, books, collectibles, and trinkets that have weathered the passage of time, each whispering tales of its own. What sets us apart is not just the affordability of our items, but the rich narratives they carry. Every piece in our shop has a history, and by bringing it into your life, you become part of that story, adding new chapters to the intricate tapestry of their existence. At our thrift shop, sustainability is not a trend; it's a way of life. By embracing pre-loved items, you contribute to a more eco-conscious and mindful world. Join us in the joy of finding treasures that resonate with your soul and, in doing so, help us weave a narrative of conscious consumerism, one vintage piece at a time. Welcome to a place where the past meets the present, and every item has a tale to tell.
